Spectacular Savanna is a sampler quilt pattern featuring nine different animals of the African Savanna including: a Lion, Elephant, Rhinoceros, Gazelle, Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Zebra, and Wildebeest.
The pattern includes instructions for making a sampler quilt and a variety of other quilts and pillows featuring the individual animal blocks. All fabric is rotary cut and sewn together using conventional patchwork piecing. Please refer to the pattern back image for quilt sizes and materials requirements.
This pattern also includes diagrams and charts showing all of the pieces needed to make each block. You can use these as a reference while making the pattern projects, or as a guide for making individual blocks and scrappy projects.
Spectacular Savanna quilts include some small pieces. The pattern will walk you through the process of sewing them with both diagrams and written instructions for each step.
This lovely quilt uses traditional piecing and is completed using conventional patchwork techniques. No templates or paper piecing!
