Introducing COOK BOOK by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet. 

Lori Holt's newest collection Cook Book is all about cheerful vintage prints that Lori's grandma and her sisters would have used to sew useful and beautiful things for the heart of their homes... which was the kitchen.

Cook Book has a total of 42 beautiful prints as well as 6 large panels (54" x 36") including apron panels, kitchen towel panels, and a hot pads & casserole carrier panel! This is going to be sew fun!

Our BASIC Lori Holt CHICKEN SALAD KIT contains all fabrics required for quilt top and binding.  Our kits ALSO include the ric rac trim used in the quilt!  Other shops charge extra for this little goodie! We ALWAYS offer options for backing with Lori's kits too! 

PLEASE NOTE: The Quilt Kit for Sale DOES NOT include the pattern. 

Lori uses her Applique Templates for the applique, as well as a sew along guide posted on her blog and on Riley Blake's website.  YOU WILL DEFINITELY NEED THE APPLIQUE TEMPLATES SO DON'T FORGET TO ADD THEM TO YOUR CART BEFORE YOU CHECK OUT! We will update this listing when the Sew Along Guide is posted!

We have a limited number of kits available with the first shipment.  Precuts will also be available!  We also will have ALL required and suggested supplies available! 

As you know, Lori loves to embellish her quilts with buttons, threads, and other fun goodies! Many of you already have these items, but we will have them available as add-ons!.  AND OF COURSE, we will customize any cut for you!

QUILT TOP AND BINDING - Cut sheet provided by RBD and Lori: 

All Lori Holt fabrics required for Chicken Salad quilt top (over 13 yards of fabric!) which includes:

• 42 FQs from the Cook Book collection
• (1) FQ - C745 Daisy from the Bee Cross Stitch collection
• 1 3/4 yards C11761 Cloud Cherry Turnover from the Cook Book collection
• 5/8 yard C11769 Cayenne Tulips from the Cook Book collection (Binding)
• 12 yards Large Alpine Vintage Trim - included in RFS kits!

BACKING: Backing Options

• OPTIONAL - 2 1/8 yards WB fabrics from the Cook Book collection for Backing.  She recommends your favorite color from the collection, Denim, Cayenne or Daisy. 
• Backing Fabric: We have all three backing options from the collection!  We are offering 108" wide fabric for the backing that is part of the collection!  2 1/8 yards needed!  They are pictured in this listing:

• Lori Holt recommends the large Bee Happy Aurifil Thread Set that has 18 Small spools for hand applique (.80 WT., 300 yds each). And also includes 27 small spools for machine applique and piecing (.60 wt, 220 yds each). 
• OR if you don't plan on hand applique, Rebsfabstash recommends the Happy Colors Aurifil thread box that includes 12 spools perfectly matched with Lori's collections for Riley Blake Designs. Each 50 wt spool includes 300 yards of 100% cotton thread.
