Americana takes a day at the beach in Sharon Lee’s new collection, Star-Spangled Beach. This whimsical patriotic collection features flip flops, sunglasses and bathing suits accented with stars and stripes. Bring the fun and sun of a beach party or Independence Day BBQ into your home, or make it as a gift for someone who has served. There's never a bad time to give a handmade quilt! This collection incorporates the classic colors of sky blue, cherry red, navy and chambray with pops of white.

After graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in Fine Arts, Sharon Lee began her journey working in New York city as a textile designer. From there, she went to a bedding manufacturer where she designed quilts, comforters and fabrics. Most recently, she has been working as a licensed and freelance designer. Her artwork has been sold for a variety of products from bedding, to tabletop, giftwrap, stationery and stickers. Inspired by nature, summers at the beach at the Jersey Shore and browsing through antique stores and vintage fabrics.

This quilt kit includes the pattern and all fabric needed for the quilt top and binding. Backing is NOT included. The pattern recommends 5.25 yards of fabric for backing. You can purchase coordinating backing from the Star Spangled Beach collection, or one of our many other Patriotic fabric collections, right here in our shop!
